Nifty crosses 9100 mark on Thursday

Mumbai, Mar 16 (IBNS): Despite initial caution about the US Fed Policy meeting, the Indian market ended Thursday on high note with Nifty closing above a record 9100, according to reports.

BSE Sensex was up 183 points at 29581.55 and NSE Nifty was up 71.50 points at 9156.30.

Some of the key stocks that gained on Thursday were Adani Ports, Tata Steel, Bajaj Auto, Asian Paints, Hindalco and Infosys while some of the key stocks that declined were Hero Motocorp, Bharti Airtel, Reliance, Coal India and ICICI Bank.
