Cosmo Films declares 100% interim dividend
Kolkata, Mar 15 (IBNS): Cosmo Films, a leading global speciality BOPP manufacturer, has announced an interim dividend of 100 percent for the financial year 2015-2016.
The interim dividend of Rs. 10 per equity share of Rs. 10 each was approved and declared by the Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on March 14, 2016. For FY 14-15, company had declared a dividend of 35 percent.
Further the company has fixed Mar 22 as the record date for the purpose of determining entitlement of shareholders to the interim dividend for FY 15-16 which would be paid on or before Mar 31.
“The decision to declare a dividend of 100 percent was taken at the backdrop of marked improved financial performance during the current financial year," said Neeraj Jain, Chief Financial Officer, Cosmo Films Ltd.For nine months till December 2015,company’s PAT jumpedmore than 3 times to Rs. 79crore.
