ICICI Bank organises Coin Exchange Mela at its branches in Lucknow

Lucknow, Feb 26 (IBNS): ICICI Bank Ltd. on Friday organised 20 coin exchange melas in Lucknow.
These were held at its branches across the city at Gomti Nagar, Ashiana, Alambagh, Aliganj, Aminabad, Faizabad Road, Hazratganj, Rajaji Puram, Mahanagar, Nadan Mahal Road, Naka Hindola, Nirala Nagar, Sadar Bazar cantt., Sitapur Road, Teli Bagh, Vibhav Khand, Vikas Nagar, Indira Nagar, Vibhuti Khand and Chowk branch. 
 
The Bank organizes these coin exchange melas under the aegis of the Reserve Bank of India.
 
Ajay Kumar, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Lucknow, inaugurated this event at ICICI Bank, Hazratganj branch. 
 
The Bank periodically organises coin exchange melas to offer free facility of exchanging acceptable soiled and mutilated currency notes with fresh currency and coins to the general public. 
 
The coin mela saw participation of around 500 people, where they exchanged coins worth Rs. 43 lakh in the denomination of Rs.10, Rs.5, Rs.2 and Re.1. 
 
The Bank exchanged fresh currency worth Rs. 9 lakh at these places in denominations of Rs 100, Rs 50, Rs 20 and Rs 10.
