Taking note of the wide array of customers the Indian Railways caters to, the budget has wisely gone for market segmentation for passenger amenities on the basis of ‘ability to pay’ approach, while widening the bouquet of current services being provided to all. Special emphasis has been provided to the needs of the women and senior citizens," the ICC said in a stratement.
