Ola celebrates its first anniversary in Kolkata; continues to grow in the city at over 40% MoM

Kolkata, Nov 16 (IBNS): Ola, India’s most popular mobile app for personal transportation, celebrates its first anniversary in Kolkata.

Ola has seen tremendous acceptance and growth in the city of joy and has grown from 1500 cabs in March this year to well over 6500 vehicles on the platform now including the city’s yellow taxis as well.

With 40% month-on-month growth, Kolkata is one of the top five cities for Ola in the country today. Ola also has extended its services to Howrah, Satragachi, Shalimar station and Liluah.

Celebrating its anniversary, Ola has plans to treat customers with a special offers and goodies through the week. Select outlets of Au Bon Pain and Krazy for chocolates will give out free cupcakes to customers who flash their Ola ride invoice from 15th to 21st November. Customers will also get Rs. 50 off on their next ride by using the coupon code 'THANK YOU' while requesting a ride across any Minis and Sedans in the city, once during this period.
