Vodafone launches new, responsive 'M-Pesa App'

New Delhi, May 5 (IBNS) Vodafone India, one of India's leading telecommunications service providers, has launched an all new, responsive 'M-Pesa App', which enables consumers to pay their bills and recharge their mobile from anywhere, anytime.

The ‘new M-Pesa App’ welcomes all Vodafone users intuitively and prompts existing users to Login and new users to register for M-Pesa.

Users can load their M-Pesa wallet through Net Banking/Debit Card absolutely free on the App.

With the ‘M-Pesa App’, consumers can very conveniently recharge their mobile & DTH, pay their Post-paid, Electricity, Gas and Landline bills from their mobile with a click of few buttons.

To start using M-Pesa, simply download the ‘M-Pesa App’ available across all major platforms  viz. Android, iPhone, BB and Windows and register on mobile.

To provide additional benefit to its new users, Vodafone also announced a 5% cashback offer on the payments made using the App (upto a maximum of Rs 50 per month).

Speaking on the occasion, Suresh Sethi, Business Head -M-Pesa, Vodafone India said, “Vodafone has always been at the forefront in launching innovative products and services relevant to the needs of our customers. Our newly launched ‘M-Pesa App’ is highly safe and secure and has been designed to empower and provide the ease and convenience to all our customers to transfer money instantly, pay utility bills, recharge phones, etc. through their mobile handset."
