Sensex-Nifty Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday rallied 634.73 pts at 57,895.31 as buying was seen across the board.
The Nifty too rose by 175.20 pts at 17,229.15.
The sensex registered days high and low at 57,948.37 and 57,252.45 pts respectively. The Nifty registered days high and low at 17,254.05 and 17,051.05.
The Mid Cap rose by 1.88 and 1.97 pc respectively. In 30 scrips, 29 advanced while 1 declined.
The gainers were Powergrid by 3.53 pc to Rs 207, Tech Mahindra by 3.43 pc to Rs 1592, Bajaj Finserv by 2.93 pc to Rs 17,401.95 and Bajaj finance by 2.63 pc to y 7085.35.
The sole loser was Dr Reddy's Lab by 0.68 pc to Rs 4665.15.
