Indian Rupee Indian Rupee down 15 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Monday tumbled down 15 paise to finish at 73.84 on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
A local unit that fell by three paise at 73.72 in opening trade, lost ground by 15 paise to settled at 73.84 as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee dropped due to strong dollar against other world currencies amid robust equity market, dealer said.
The local unit registered days high and low at 73.80 and 73.70 respectively.
