Afghanistan: Explosion rocks northern Takhar province, 5 killed
Kabul, Aug 20 (IBNS): A bomb explosion hit northern Takhar province of Afghanistan on Saturday which killed at least five men and injured three others, media reports said.
Sunatullah Taimur, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News of Afghanistan that the blast took place in Durqad district before noon.
Civilians were on their way to the farms when the blast occurred.
Injured people were rushed to hospital for treatment.
No group has claimed responsibility for the explosion so far.
