Pakistan: 3 killed in blast
Peshawar, May 23 (IBNS): A blast in Pakistan's North Waziristan area killed at least three security personnel on Saturday, media reports said.
The blast, which was caused by Improvised Explosive Device (IED), also injured three others.
"According to a security source, the security troops were on a routine patrol when a roadside IED hit their vehicle resulting in the demise of three personnel and injuring three others," Dawn News reported.
After the blast, the security forces have started an operation in the area.
