Third phase of WB Assembly election on Thursday
Kolkata, Apr 19 (IBNS) Phase 3 of West Bengal Assembly Elections will take place on Thursday with polling at 62 constituencies spread across Murshidabad, Nadia and Burdwan districts and North Kolkata.
418 candidates, including 34 female candidates will be contesting during phase 3. There are 70 Independent candidates contesting on Thursday

The ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are contesting from all 62 constituencies.
Communist Party of India - Marxist (CPI-M) is contesting 38 seats and the Congress Party 26 seats.
A total of 1,37,42,000 voters are registered to vote at these constituencies through 16,461 polling stations (including 10 auxiliary polling stations).
Among the Assembly constituencies going to poll on Thursday, the largest number of candidates being fielded by Domkal and Jalangi in Murshidabad, with 12 candidates each.
The minimum number of candidates, three each, are being fielded by two constituencies in Burdwan -- Bardhaman Dakshin and Galsi (SC).
Murshidabad, Baharampur and Memari are fielding two women candidates each, Kashipur- Belgachina has three women candidates in the fray while Shyampukur is fielding four woman candidates.
The largest Assembly constituency by number of electors on Thursday is Ranaghat Dakshin (SC) with 2,56,860 electors while area-wise, Ausgram (SC) is the largest with 610 Sq. Km.
The smallest Assembly constituency by the number of electors is Shyampukar, with 1,71,008 electors.
Campaigning for the third phase ends on Tuesday.
