Sushma Swaraj meets family members of acid attack victim

Moscow, Apr 19 (IBNS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday met family members of a Russian woman who was attacked with acid in Varanasi.

"A nation's support at a difficult time. With mother & sister of Darya Prokina - Varanasi acid attack victim," Sushma Swaraj wrote on Twitter and posted a picture of her meeting with the family members of the victim.

The Russian woman was severely injured when she was attacked with acid allegedly by her landlord's son on at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh on Nov 13 last year.

Swaraj is currently visiting Russia.
