New Delhi, Apr 12 (IBNS) Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi visits Mumbai on Tuesday, to support the ongoing jewellers' strike in the city.

Gandhi's visit will also see him travel to the Deonar dumping ground, where he will take stock of the situation.

Later he will join the agitating jewellers in the city's Zaveri Bazar.

Jewellers in Mumbai, began an indefinite strike from March 1, after Union Finance Minister announced one percent increase in excise duty, while presenting the new budget.

However, recent reports have suggested that the strike might soon be called off.
