Power Minister faces power cut while speaking about progress in power sector
New Delhi, May 20 (IBNS): In an embarrassing situation, Power Minister Piyush Goyal faced a power cut while launching a booklet on his ministry's work on Friday.
The electricity went off twice when the minister was speaking about the progress made by the Modi government in power generation.
"I think I mentioned last time that my wife tells me that power should go off once in every program that I hold so that I can be sure that I have miles to go before I rest and sleep. I don't know if now they've made it a practice because of her guidance or it is actually gone," said Goyal.
He was addressing the media and was using technology to highlight Modi's achievements after completion of two years in power.
