Saharanpur, May 26 (IBNS) Calling himself a 'Uttar Pradesh wala', Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed a massive rally at Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh and said people have seen the works performed by his government in the past two years.

"Over the last two years, people of this nation have seen our works," Modi said.

Modi said his government has tried to serve the  1.25 billion people of India.

Picking up the issue of corruption, Modi said he has tried to strop the problem during his tenure.

"Did you see any news highlighting that Modi government has been involved in corruption during the two years period since I came to power," Modi asked people who are attending the rally.

Narendra Modi, who on May 26, 2014, took oath as the 15th Prime Minister of the country, after his party received the largest mandate ever, completed two years on Thursday.

Modi is an MP from Varanasi seat in Uttar Pradesh.
