Cabs surge pricing: Kejriwal warns of strict action
New Delhi, May 1 (IBNS): As some app-based cab service providers brought back surge pricing in the national capital on Sunday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal warned that 'strict actions' will be taken against them for making such a move.
"Some taxis hv started charging surge. Surge not allowed under law. They r warned that strong action will be taken against them," Kejriwal tweeted.
Kejriwal warned the companies a day after the second phase of the odd-even rule ended in Delhi.
The second phase of the scheme was followed between Apr 15 to Apr 30.
