Islamabad:  Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) provincial head Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao has slammed the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government as it could not provide relief to people.

The party said this attitude of the government deepened the sense of deprivation among the Pakhtuns.

“The rulers should take steps to remove the sense of deprivation among the Pakhtuns, who have faced the brunt of militancy, joblessness and inflation,” he told The News International.

He said his party will not stop until the Pakhtuns have their due rights guaranteed under the Constitution of Pakistan.

He even expressed concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in the region.
