Pakistani military jets attack militant hideouts, 23 killed

Peshawar, Apr 24 (IBNS): At least 23 extremists were killed as Pakistani fighter jets pounded suspected militant hideouts in Khyber Agency on Thursday, media reports said.

According to reports, several others were injured.

"Pakistani fighter jets pounded suspected militant hideouts in Khyber Agency near the Afghan border on Thursday killing twenty-three extremists and injuring several others," Geo News reported.

"Terrorist hideouts were engaged by fighter jets in Khyber agency early (in the) morning today," the Pakistani news channel reported quoting  the army's press wing's text message sent to media.

During the bombing, nine militants’ compounds were destroyed.
