Pakistan records 5,512 new COVID-19 cases

Islamabad: Pakistan recorded 5,512 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, media reports said on Monday.

The total COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 761,437.

As per the official data by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 60,162 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours from which 5,512 tests returned positive, reports Geo News.

The death toll due to the disease now stands at 16316.

In the past 24 hours, 73 deaths have been recorded.
