Pakistan: Police claims to nab suspected Karachi knife attacker

Islamabad,Oct 15 (IBNS): The Pakistani police has claimed to have nabbed from Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab, the suspected Karachi knife attacker, media reports said on Sunday.

"Investigations will disclose details about Waseem's involvement in the knife attacks in Karachi's Gulistan-e-Johar and nearby areas," Deputy Inspector General East Sultan Khowaja was quoted as saying by Geo News.

He said the suspect will be shifted to Karachi for further investigation.

According media reports, at least 15 attacks by a knife attacker, riding a motorcycle, occurred in Karachi city's eastern district since Sept 25.

He was arrested during a joint operation by the Sindh and Punjab police.
