Pakistan: Man, woman killed for 'honour' in Karachi

Karachi, Feb 23 (IBNS): In the name of 'honour' a man and a woman have been killed in Pakistan's Karachi city, media reports said.

The bodies of the two were found from Hub in the jurisdiction of the Surjani Police Station three days ago, officials added.

The bodies bore marks of torture and their throats were slashed, officials were quoted as saying by Geo News.

The killed people were identified as Naseeb Zar Khan, 25, and the woman as Bibi Dakhtar.

As per media reports, they stayed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and lived in the same locality.

“The two were killed after proper planning,” officials told Geo News.

The parents of the killed woman are missing, reports said.

A case has been registered in connection with the incident.

Police have started investigating the incident.
