Islamabad/IBNS: Amid deepening economic crisis, the Imran Khan-led PTI government in Pakistan is adding woes for its citizens as tariffs on water and power were hiked recently, according to media reports.

Demonstrations were held at Ichhra, Multan Road, Township, Shahdara Morr, Begumkot, Johar Town, Ghaziabad, Bund Road, Mansoora Basti, Walton Road, Kahna Nau, Badami Bagh, Mughalpura and other places over the issue recently, reports Islam Khabar news portal.

Speaking to the protesters at Shanghai Chowk, Chungi Amarsidhu, Punjab JI emir Javed Kasuri was quoted as saying by the news portal that the people of Balochistan were staging a sit-in at Gwadar for the last 27 days but the rulers were turning a deaf ear to their demands for basic rights.

He said PM Imran Khan would talk against corruption but could not detail the steps taken so far to eliminate the menace from the country.
