Pakistan army chief visits Kabul

Kabul, Dec 17 (IBNS): Pakistan Army Chief General Raheel Sharif visited Afghanistan's capital Kabul on Wednesday.

He will meet  Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and ISAF commander General John Campbell during his visit to the neighbouring nation.

Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Asim Bajwa tweeted: "#COAS in Psr:Left for Kabul on special visit.Accompanied by DG ISI. COAS will meet Afgn President, ISAF Comd, will return to Psr."

"The army chief is expected to discuss with the Afghan military leadership the possibility of a joint military operation by the Pakistani and Afghan armies against handlers of the Peshawar carnage that left 141 dead, "security sources told Dawn News.

In a deadly attack, Taliban terrorists on Tuesday attacked an Army school in Pakistan's Peshawar city which left 141 people, including 132 school children, dead.
