Pakistan: After Punjab now Sindh govt decides to block sim cards of unvaccinated people

Islamabad: The Sindh government has also decided to follow the footsteps  of Punjab and block the mobile SIM cards of unvaccinated individuals.

Talking to the media after the inauguration of the vaccination centre at Karachi's Rafiqi Shaheed Hospital, Sindh Minister for Information Syed Nasir Hussain Shah told Geo News that mobile phone SIMs of those who do not get vaccinated will be blocked soon.

Shah said that even those who have been vaccinated must continue to take precautionary measures against the coronavirus.

Pakistan has witnessed COVID-19 waves and resulting deaths so far.

The country has recorded 21782 deaths due to the virus till now.
