| @indiablooms | Mar 03, 2019, at 09:28 pm

Islamabad, Mar 3 (UNI) At least six people were killed and many sustained injuries when torrential rains and snowfall brought life to a standstill in parts of Pakistan's Balochistan province, local reports said on Sunday.

Many people had to stay in open after their houses were collapsed by rain or flash floods, while the authorities also issued flood warning in several districts of the province.

Chief Minister of Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan directed to convert state-owned buildings into shelter houses to accommodate the people affected by the flood.

He also contacted the chairman of national highway authority to clear the road on an emergency basis for restoring traffic.
