Pakistani Army chief  Syed Asim Munir faced embarrassment recently when overseas Pakistanis demonstrated against him during his visit to Washington DC.

According to reports, protesters were seen shouting slogans "Pakistanio ke Qatil" and "Islamabad ke Qatil".

Speaking on the protest, Nazia Imtiaz Hussain, a X user who identifies herself as Executive Director of The Alliance Organisation, wrote on X, "We’re here to protest the criminal dictator of Pakistan."

"Shame on every bootlicker who showed up in support of fascism—you didn’t just betray democracy, you spit on the suffering of millions," she said.

PTI USA shared a video where a mobile billboard could be seen parked in the USA displaying the slogan that reads "Asim Munir, Mass Murderer" and "Democracy dies when guns speak".

Munir arrived in the USA for a five-day official visit.

He is visiting the US to reinforce military and strategic ties between Pakistan and the United States, diplomatic sources told Dawn News.
