No nation can progress unless it demonstrates spirit of sacrifice: Khan

Islamabad, Aug 22 (IBNS): Pakistan PM Imran Khan on Wednesday said that no nation could progress in the world unless it showed the spirit of sacrifice.

In his message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, he congratulated the nation and prayed to Allah Almighty to accept the prayers and sacrifices offered by the people and make them a source of blessings, Radio Pakistan reported.

Khan said people need to work for the progress of the country.

In his Eid message, Khan said the nation should not forget the builders and defenders of Pakistan.

Pakistan and the rest of the nation in celebrating  Eidul Azha on Wednesday.

Khan last week took oath as PM of Pakistan.

His PTI scripted major victory in the Pakistan general polls recently.
