Malala invites Modi, Sharif for Nobel Prize Award ceremony

London, Oct 10 (IBNS) Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai, who jointly won the Nobel Peace Prize with Indian activist Kailash Satyarthi, on Friday said she wants both Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif to attend the award ceremony.

"I asked Kailash Satyarthi to request Prime Mnister Narendra Modi to attend Nobel Prize Award ceremony. I will request PM Nawaz Sharif the same," she said.

She urged both India and Pakistan to think of 'peace and development'.

"I want India and Pakistan to talk about peace and focus on education and development," she said.
