Islamabad: Pakistan's National Security Adviser Dr Moeed Yusuf has warned that the negative fallout of the civil war in Afghanistan may lead to  Taliban fighters slipping into Pakistan as refugees.

Dr Moeed Yusuf did not sound positive about the prospects of peace in Afghanistan.

“The situation is bad and out of Pakistan’s control," Moeed was quoted as saying by The Express Tribune.

Afghanistan has been witnessing political turmoil in recent times ever since foreign forces started to move out of the war-ravaged nation.

The Taliban forces have been taking control of many areas in Afghanistan, triggering tension and bloodbath in the country.
