Afghanistan: 5 militants killed

Kabul, Feb 10 (IBNS): At least five militants were killed as they attacked the police headquarters in Afghanistan's northeastern Kunduz province on Tuesday.

During exchange of fire, the police killed them.

According to reports, a policeman and a woman were wounded in the attack.

Police spokesman Sayyed Sarwar Hussaini told Pajhwok Afghan News that the attack was started at around 11: 00 am this morning.

Hetold the Afghanistan news agency  that a suicide bomber among the attackers blew himself up at the gate of the compound while the rest four attackers were trying to force their way inside the facility amid trading gun fire with the police.
