Pokémon fans, get ready: Japan's All Nippon Airways unveils 2 new themed jets. Know the routes
The globally celebrated Pokémon franchise is set to mark its 30th anniversary in 2026, and to celebrate the milestone, Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA) has unveiled two brand-new Pokémon-themed aircraft.
The special aircraft have been named “Pokémon Jet Red” and “Pokémon Jet Green”.
ANA announced the launch on X, sharing images of the specially designed planes with the caption: “The wait is officially OVER!”

“ANA is celebrating 30 years of Pokémon with TWO brand new special livery aircraft: the ‘Pokémon Jet Red’ and ‘Pokémon Jet Green’!” the airline posted.
Speaking about the themed aircraft, ANA said: “Pokémon Jet Red (Domestic Routes: Boeing 787-8) features the Fire-type starter Pokémon from each title in the Pokémon series. Catch it in the skies after late July 2026.”
The airline added that “Pokémon Jet Green” — which will operate on international routes using a Boeing 787-9 — features a vibrant and festive design showcasing generations of Grass-type starter Pokémon.
ANA also confirmed that original Pokémon-themed merchandise will be available for passengers to purchase onboard.
Passengers can additionally expect a fully themed cabin experience, including custom headrest covers, paper cups and other exclusive Pokémon-inspired details.
