Tata Group-owned Air India on Monday announced that guests flying during Navratri will be served specially curated festive meals onboard its flights and at its lounges in Delhi and Mumbai.

The special menus will be available during the 10 days of festivities between 10 October and 20 October 2026.

Guests can savour an array of fasting-friendly dishes, traditional festive favourites and regional specialities crafted to bring the flavours of the season to their journeys.

On board, the Navratri meal will be served on select flights operating from Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

The breakfast service features favourites such as Sabudana Khichdi with crispy potato salli, Vratwale Shahi Aloo and Singhade ki Poori, complemented by fresh fruit, plain dahi and water.

During refreshment service, guests can enjoy Sabudana Wada, Garam Aloo Chaat prepared with sendha namak and mint chutney, and Vratwala Paneer Tikka enriched with curd, cashew and aromatic spices, alongside Sabudana Fruit Kheer and fresh fruit. For lunch and dinner, the menu includes Vratwala Shahi Paneer, Vratwali Kaddu Ki Subzi, Samak Jeera Rice and Singhade ki Poori, accompanied by fruit, dahi and Sabudana Fruit Kheer. Prepared using shuddh ghee and sendha namak, the menu has been thoughtfully crafted to bring the authentic flavours and customs of Navratri to guests' journeys.

The celebrations extend beyond the skies. Air India is bringing the vibrancy and indulgence of Navratri to its lounges in Delhi and Mumbai, transforming them into festive culinary destinations. At the airline's flagship Maharaja Lounge in Delhi, guests will be served an elaborate Navratri menu including favourites such as Sabudana Khichdi, Farali Misal, Farali Kachori, Shakarkandi ki Tikki, Sabudana Vada, Rajgira specialties and Makhana Kheer on request. Complementing the offering will be a bespoke Navratri food cart, adding a sense of occasion and festive elegance to the lounge experience.

At the domestic lounges, guests can savour a delicious dessert collection inspired by the festival's iconic hues, from orange delights such as carrot mawa roll, orange semolina cake and pumpkin cheesecake, to red velvet brownies, royal blue blueberry cheesecake, yellow mango cheesecake, green kiwi mousse, purple yam Swiss rolls and peacock-themed sweet creations. Complementing these indulgences is a nostalgic spread of traditional Navratri farsaan, including banana chips, rajgeera ladoo, peanut ladoo, rajgeera chikki, banana wafers and peanut chikki. Adding more colour is the festive décor, inspired by the energy and warmth of the celebrations.

This initiative reflects Air India’s ongoing focus on enhancing customer experience by bringing service excellence and India’s cultural richness together for guests. With this, Air India continues to blend world-class hospitality with the warmth of home, making every journey a celebration in the skies.
