Passengers coming to Kolkata Airport from 4 states now require negative Covid-19 test report
Kolkata/IBNS: In the wake of the massive Covid-19 spike, passengers coming to Kolkata Airport from four Indian states will now require negative RT-PCR test reports.
Any passenger, who is coming to Kolkata, will now be required to undergo the tests within 72 hours before departure from five states, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala and Telangana.
A tweet put up by Kolkata Airport reads, "As per State Govt guidelines passengers coming to #KolkataAirport from Maharashtra,Karnataka,Kerala & Telangana must carry RT PCR negative test report conducted within 72 hours before departure."

West Bengal on Tuesday reported 4,817 new Covid-19 cases.
India is witnessing the second wave of Covid-19 which has induced partial lockdowns in various states and stricter enforcement of restrictions in Maharashtra.
India reported 1,84,372 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, marking a sharp rise in daily case count, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
In the past 24 hours, 1,027 people died due to the highly infectious virus.
