Mumbai, Mar 15 (IBNS) Jet Airways, starting Tuesday, will operate its entire domestic operations from Terminal 2 (T2) of Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport as part of its plan to integrate its domestic and international flight operations in one terminal.

According to the airlines, this will offer its passengers a seamless and hassle-free transfer experience; guests will now be able to transfer from domestic to international flightswithin 75 minutes and from international to domestic flights within 90 minutes.

Jet Airways’ domestic operations at T2 commenced with the arrival of flight 9W 628 from Kolkata to Mumbai at 12:10am. and the departure of flight 9W 484 from Mumbai to Kolkata at 2:25am

Air India and Vistara shifted their domestic operations to T2 in 2015.

Spread across 4.4 million square feet, the integrated Terminal 2 is four times the size of the earlier Terminal 2 building.

During this initial change-over phase, plans are afoot to arrange for coaches to convey passengers to T2 in case they come to Terminal 1B by mistake for departures, according to media reports.
