FIFA files criminal complaint in connection with Museum project that landed football with a bill of CHF 500 million

Zurich: FIFA has lodged a criminal complaint with Zurich’s cantonal prosecutor as evidence of suspected criminal mismanagement by FIFA’s former management and companies appointed by them in relation to the ‘Haus zur Enge’ has surfaced following an investigation by external experts.

FIFA President praises India for successfully hosting FIFA U-17 WC

New Delhi, Nov 6 (IBNS):  FIFA President Gianni Infantino lavished huge praise for India for successfully hosting the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017.

Kolkata, Oct 27 (IBNS): FIFA President Gianni Infantino described the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 as a “resounding success which has broken all kinds of records.”

“When the U-17 World Cup was allotted to India I wasn’t a part of FIFA. But now I can say that it’s all set to surpass the all-time attendance record for the U-17 World Cup achieved in China in 1985 and I feel India can also beat the record of attendance of U-20 World Cup achieved in Colombia. “India is not a country but a continent,” the FIFA President maintained.
