Protests against China highlighting human rights violations staged globally on its National Day on Oct 1

The National Day of China was marked by protest gatherings in Tokyo, Toronto, Vienna and Prague among other world cities on Oct 1. Those coming together denounced the Chinese Communist Party and the leadership of the Xi Jinping over atrocities on Tibetans, Uyghurs and Falun Gong members. People came on the streets to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Tibet, Xinjiang, Mongolia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and elsewhere.
