World T20: Mohammad Naim, Rahim scores fifties as Bangladesh score 171/4 against Sri Lanka

Sharjah: Mohammad Naim (62) and Mushfiqur Rahim (57*) scored fifties as Bangladesh posted 171 runs for the loss of four wickets against Sri Lanka in a World T20 match here on Sunday.

Rahim hammered five boundaries and two sixes in the innings to help reach a competitive score against the former champions.

Naim hit six boundaries in the knock.

Sri Lanka bowlers Chamika Karunaratne, Binura Fernando and Lahiru Kumara picked up a wicket in the match.

Both the teams reached the Super 12 stage after passing the qualifying stage.
