Leeds July 6 (IBNS): Sri Lankan captain Dimuth Karunaratne won the toss and elected to bat first against India in a World Cup match here on Saturday.

India have rested Mohammed Shami and Yuvendra Chahal and picked Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav in their places.

Sri Lanka also made one change to their side. Thisara Perera replaces Jeffrey Vandersay for Sri Lanka.

Though India have already qualified for the semifinals, the men-in-blue would like to win the match to stay in the race to clinch the topmost position in the points table. At present, Australia are leading the table.

Sri Lanka have already crashed out of the tournament.
