World Cup: Morgan smashes 17 sixes as England post 397/6 against Afghanistan

Manchester, June 18 (IBNS): Eoin Morgan hammered record 17 sixes in his 71-ball knock as he helped England post 397 runs for the loss of six wickets against Afghanistan in a World Cup match here on Tuesday.

Morgan added four boundaries too in his knock.

Bairstow (90) and Joe Root also contributed (88) runs with his willows.

Moeen Ali (31*) slammed four sixes in the end.

Dawlat Zadran and Gulbadin Naib picked up three wickets for Afghanistan.
