Taunton, June 29 (IBNS): Smriti Mandhana's unbeaten 106 runs guided India to beat Windies by seven wickets, clinching their second consecutive win in the Women's World Cup 2017 on Thursday.

Chasing a target of 184, India lost early wickets but it was the partnership between Mandhana and skipper Mitali Raj of 108 runs that helped them to clinch the victory.

Though Mitali went out at 46, Mandhana partnered with Mona Meshram to score the required number of runs.

Shamilia Connel, Stafanie Taylor and Hayley Matthews picked one wicket each.

Earlier, India won the toss and invited the Windies team to bat first. The disciplined bowling of India restricted their opponent to only 183/8 in 50 overs.
