Mumbai/IBNS: New Zealand spin bowler Ajaz Patel on Saturday joined late English cricketer Jim Laker and former Indian captain Anil Kumble in picking 10 wickets in an innings during the second Test against India.

Reacting to Patel's feat, Kumble tweeted, "Welcome to the club #AjazPatel #Perfect10 Well bowled! A special effort to achieve it on Day1 & 2 of a test match."

Patel conceded 119 runs to the Indians batsmen in return of 10 wickets including a controversial one of Virat Kohli.

His 10 wickets helped New Zealand to bowl out India for 325 in the first innings of the Mumbai Test.
