Virat Kohli smashes 116 runs knock to help India post 250 runs on scorecard in 2nd ODI

Nagpur, Mar 5 (IBNS): Indian skipper Virat Kohli smashed a memorable century, the 40th one in his glorious career, as India posted 250 runs in 48.2 overs in the second ODI match against Australia here on Tuesday.

India were bowled out in 48.2 overs.

Kohli played a much demanded innings under pressure in a match where he needed to deliver specially after the top order departed early.

Rohit Sharma was dismissed for a duck while the other opener Shikhar Dhawan contributed 21 runs with his willow.

Kohli smashed 10 boundaries in the knock.

Shankar added 46 runs with his willow.

MS Dhoni failed to deliver in the match and scored a duck.

Cummins picked up four wickets for Australia.
