Kanpur, Oct 29 (IBNS): Guided by Rohit Sharma (147) and Virat Kohli (113)'s gutsy knocks, India posted massive 337 runs for the loss of six wickets in the third ODI match against New Zealand on Sunday.

The match assumes significance for Kohli as he completed 9000 runs in ODI and became the fastest man to reach the milestone.

After Shikhar Dhawan (14) departed, it was Sharma who showed his charisma with his willow.

Sharma hammered 18 boundaries and two sixes in his knock as he smashed New Zealand bowlers outside the park.

Kohli hit his 32nd century of the career where he added nine boundaries and a six to make the moments memorable for the spectators.

MS Dhoni added quick 25 runs with his bat.

Tim Southee and Adam Milne picked up two wickets for New Zealand.

The series is currently levelled 1-1.
