Vijender Singh beats Kerry Hope to clinch WBO Asia Pacific Super Middleweight title

New Delhi, July 16 (IBNS): Beating tough Kerry Hope, India's iconic boxer Vijender Singh won the WBO Asia Pacific Super Middleweight title here on Saturday.

The entire Thyagraj Sports Complex  cheered aloud to join Singh's celebration.

This was Singh's first professional victory on the Indian soil.

The match lasted till the final round.
