Snookin Shooters win Bengal Premier League title

Kolkata, Aug 13 (IBNS): Snookin Shooters, led by its marquee player Siddharth Parikh, won the inaugural edition of the Bengal Premier League (Cue Sports) at the Bengal Rowing Club today, defeating The Rockets 3-1 in the finals.

Snookin Shooters won the first frame when marquee player Siddharth Parikh beat Sandeep Gulati of The Rockets 85-24.

In the second frame, The Rockets restored parity when Akram Khan got the better of Debashish Mukhopadhyay with 100-61 scoreline.

The DoubleS Frame was again won by Snookin Shooters with Siddharth Parikh and Wangchuk Bhutia beat the duo of Sandeep Gulati and Shakil Ahmed 61-36.

Snookin Shooters kept up the momentum in the fourth frame when Neeraj Sharma beat Rishabh Dugar 36-03.
