Rio: Indian women recurve team reach Q/Fs

Rio de Janeiro, Aug 7 (IBNS): Indian women recurve team, comprising of Deepika Kumari, Bombayla Devi and Laxmirani Majhi , showed their brilliance as they defeated Colombia 5-3 in the 1/8 elimination round of the Rio Olympics here.

They reached the quarter-finals of the tournament.

India will face Russia in the next round.

Sports Authority of India tweeted: "#IND Women archery team will have face off with #Russia at 10:30 PM (IST).Best wishes.Cheer for team.#SAI #Rio2016."
