Kanpur, Sept 25 (IBNS): Spinner R Ashwin reached a milestone in his career when he became the fastest Indian bowler in the history of Test cricket to clinch 200 wickets.

He picked up the wicket of New Zeland batsman  Kane Williamson to pick up his 200th Test wicket.

On the fourth day of the first Test, New Zealand is trying to chase down the mammoth 434 target to clinch the match.

R Ashwin, however, left New Zealand on tough ground as he picked up three wickets to leave the visitors struggling at 93 for four at the end of the fourth day of the match.

In the second innings, Luke Ronchi is the top scorer for the side so far with his 38 unbeaten knock.
