President congratulates Deepa Malik

New Delhi, Sept 13 (IBNS): President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday congratulated Deepa Malik for winning a Silver Medal at the Rio Paralympics Games-2016.

In a message sent to Deepa Malik, the President said, “I am delighted to know that you have won the Silver Medal in women’s Shot Put F-53 event at the Rio Paralympics Games-2016."

"Your success is a matter of great pride for all Indians. It will serve as an inspiration to both sportspersons as well as differently abled people of our country. Your achievement is an example of what can be accomplished through hard work and dedication," he said.

Mukehrjee said: "I congratulate you and wish the very best for the future”.
