Painful to watch Pakistan being thrashed by India: Imran Khan

| | Jun 05, 2017, at 10:38 pm
Islamabad, June 5 (IBNS):Former Pakistani captain and now a politician Imran Khan has slammed the national side after they were defeated by India in a high-voltage Champions Trophy match on Sunday.

He said it was painful for him to see the Pakistani side losing the match without putting up a fight against India.

"As a sportsman I know winning & losing are part of the game but it's painful to watch Pak being thrashed by India without putting up a fight," Khan tweeted.

"Unless Pak cricket structure is totally revamped/reformed, despite an abundance of talent the gap between Pak & India will keep increasing," he said.

He said: "And we will keep facing disappointment by defeats such as the one today."

Khan said: "Pak cricket cannot be fixed if the Chairman of the PCB is not appointed on professional merit."

India beat Pakistan by 124 runs via D/L method on Sunday.
