Mumbai Indians beat RCB by four wickets

Bangalore, Apr 14 (IBNS): Despite losing five quick wickets and a brilliant hat-trick by spinner Samuel Badree, Kieron Pollard (70) and Krunal Pandya (37*) added 93 runs on the sixth wicket partnership to ensure a four wickets victory for Mumbai Indians against hosts Royal Challengers Bangalore in an IPL match here on Friday.

After RCB scored 142 runs for the loss of five wickets, RCB came down with a purpose, despite losing early wickets, managed to scored 145 runs by losing six wickets with seven balls to spare.

Pollard played a sensational innings under pressure as he smashed three boundaries and five sixes in his 47-ball knock.

Pandya gave him strong company at the other end of the crease.

Badree created troubles for the Mumbai side as he picked up the first hat-trick of the tournament,

Finishing with figures of 4-9, Badree played a strong role to give RCB early benefit.

However, Pollard and Pandya turned the table around for the hosts with their effective knocks.
